Our Philosophy
At Bright Beginnings, we are dedicated to nurturing each child as a unique person encouraging the growth of self-worth, individual creativity, and an understanding of others. Our goal is to enhance a child’s journey through the formative years in a warm, responsive atmosphere of discovery through play. We are committed to providing enriching experiences to strengthen social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. Our curriculum which is developmentally appropriate fosters reasoning, experimentation, cooperation, and a love of learning.
Our Day In a Nutshell
Arriving children come to circle time where we do calendar activities, large group instruction and read a story. During free play time, children receive small group, partner or 1:1 instruction at the teacher’s table and enjoy a process art activity with the teacher’s aide. After clean up, children participate in sharing time and music/movement activities. We have snack time and end our day with another story before dismissal.
In The Community
Bright Beginnings is proud of our community involvement. We participate in National Library Week, Humane Society Drive, Caring Cupboard Drive, and LVC Peace Garden Kindness Rock spreading! We host LVC students in our classroom all year along and enjoy that working relationship! We also make cards for residents at The Lebanon Valley Home.
Bright Beginnings Preschool was selected as one of Lebanon Valley’s Best of the Best in the Education/Learning Center category for 2021 and 2022, was voted as the winner of the Education/Learning Center category for 2023 and again in 2024!
